¹² But Peter got up and ^(A)ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he *saw the linen wrappings ^[a]only; and he went away ^(B)to his home, marveling at what had happened.

¹³ And behold, ^(C)two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was ^[b]about seven miles from Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And they were talking with each other about all these things which had taken place.
